Glock Gun Sales Surge After Obama Election

by dave on November 29, 2012

As we predicted, with the re-election the Obama and no changes in his gun hating history and administration (Contempt of Congress laden Attorney General Eric Holder in particular) sales of guns and ammunition of all types have been surging since the election.

With rhetoric from some senator's and notoriously anti-gun rights (even for protection) individuals like California's Dianne Feinstein finalizing proposed legislation that would ban what they are calling "assault rifles" and related ammunition, there are others calling for even more robust limits even on semi automatic handguns.

We're hearing reports of more widespread shortages (usually outages) of ammunition, especially in .223 caliber (AR-15) and some types of common AK caliber.

Meanwhile, Glock handguns continue to lead in sales as users flock to the affordability, reliability, and widespread availability of what many consider the country's most popular handgun.  Particular the super popular 9mm and .40 caliber models like the Glock 19 or Glock 23.

In the meantime, we recommend you contact your state and local representatives and make your wishes known on your opposition to any restrictions to your constitutional rights or political gamesmanship.  And keep your Glocks handy — in the coming economy and potential collapse, they'll be worth more than the paper currency you'll use now to buy it.
